As Facebook receives an investment that values the company at $50 billion, 2011 certainly seems to be starting as the year in which the open web clashes with the internet as application.

  • With FB on one end, and Apple on another, how free and open is the market that drives the new economy?
  • What kind of business model does Facebook have that justifies a valuation that will most certainly continue to rise?
  • Will these emerging tech titans be regulated? Can they?
  • What will they do to continue to evade oversight and regulatory control?
  • If "World War 3" is Apple versus Google, where does Facebook fit in?
  • We've seen them disrupt multiple industries and sectors, which market will they target next?

We'll be addressing these questions and more in our first teleseminar of 2011.
